We accomplish our mission by ... -Praying for young people. -Going where kids are. -Building personal relationships with them. -Winning the right to be heard. -Providing experiences that are fun, adventurous and life-changing. -Sharing our lives and the Good News of Jesus Christ with adolescents. -Inviting them to personally respond to this Good News. -Loving them regardless of their response. -Nurturing kids so they might grow in their love for Christ and the knowledge of Gods Word and become people who can share their faith with others. -Helping young people develop the skills, assets and attitudes to reach their full God-given potential. -Encouraging kids to live connected to the Body of Christ by being an active member of a local congregation. -Working with a team of like-minded individuals -- volunteer leaders, committee members, donors and staff.

Young Life is a non-profit organization supported through the generosity of individuals, churches, foundations and businesses that care about kids and support our mission.In many ways, Young Life is a "grass roots" organization. Most of the funds given to Young Life each year come from individuals and organizations who are committed to making a difference in the lives of kids in their communities.
Young Life also welcomes support for missionwide initiatives (e.g., major camp construction projects or scholarship funds to help kids afford the cost of camp) that reach beyond the local community.
Eighty-three percent of any gifts you make to Young Life stay right in your local area to support the ministry to kids there. The other 17 percent, known as the service charge, is sent to the Young Life Service Center and to the areas corresponding regional office to fund technical and administrative services that serve local areas
