YWCA Alaska works to empower women and eliminate racism by leveling the playing field for women, people of color, and the marginalized. Because of support like yours, we can improve the lives of Alaskan women and under-served community members with programming and supportive advocacy.

We do this through four pillars:

1. Be Unafraid: allowing the BOLD mission of the YWCA to lead BOLD activity.
2. Be a thought and experience leader in Alaska on issues of systemic racism: be the convening authority.
3. Youth Empowerment: program delivery in line with mission goals of YWCA Alaska; mental health programming serving "race as a health issue.
4. Organizational Wellness and Sustainability: diversify funding and cultivation to ensure YWCA Alaska is here for decades to come.
