Serving the Interior since 1956, our goal is to inspire philanthropy in our community, encouraging people to GIVE, ADVOCATE, and VOLUNTEER. We all have something to give, and when we all contribute a little, it can add up to a big impact!

When you give to the United Way of the Tanana Valley, you are supporting not only the work we do, but the work of our Partner Agencies and ALL local nonprofits. We provide resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy for nonprofits beyond our funded partners.Our Partner Agencies cover the impact areas of Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. By covering these areas, we are helping to ensure that every community member has the resources they need to thrive in Interior Alaska.
We serve as the fiscal agent for the Fairbanks Wellness Coalition, a program of our local United Way.
