The Roscoe Fund
Anchorage, AK • EIN: 92-0172009
The Roscoe Fund was created in 1999 to help prevent suffering of our companion animals.
About
The Roscoe Fund had been created in 1999 to help assist owners or rescue animals in need of emergency medical treatment. It is our goal to reduce suffering in animals that might otherwise remain untreated or be euthanized for purely economic reasons.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Our donors and our program work together to save animals lives. Without you, we could not do our job in saving these animals. Through the years, we have saved thousands of pets, one at a time. Pick, Click, and Give has given us new opportunities to do more work where we could not before. We have helped with surgery, helped the elderly (when their pet was all they had), we have helped pets in fires and pets found in the streets, some given a new life. Please visit our facebook page and read some of our stories. Pick, Click and Give over the years have given us the opportunity to become larger and reach to all the veterinary clinics in Anchorage and the surrounding area instead of just the two emergency clinics which was a goal we had no idea we would attain. We help with humane euthanasia. We believe no animal should suffer. Our work is centered around emergencies where people do not have the means to get funds and reducing pain and suffering. We focus on pet treatment although sometimes pets do have to have diagnostics in order to be treated. We do try to make our funds stretch as far as possible so they are there to help the next pet. We encourage our recipients to give back or pay it forward so our fund is always there. We are proud to be going on our 26th year of helping our companion pets in Alaska live better lives. We wish to thank everyone who donates. The kids that knitted the scarves for us and brought us their hard earned money, the matching funds, the wedding presents, the birthday presents (how unselfish of you), and the folks that give us that $25. or $50. that they don't really have. THANK YOU!
