About
The Dome is a one-of-a-kind piece of infrastructure in Anchorage that serves the Anchorage School District, the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a group of over 20 nonprofits focused on community health and athletics. Our own programs include a summer camp and a flag football league which, combined, serve over 1,000 families per year. The Dome sees an average of 1,000 users per day and is the only space in Alaska that is weather independent for athletic activities and community health programming. For nearly twenty years, we have been the foundation for the youth sports community in Anchorage, with programs and leagues focused on soccer, baseball, football, track/field, and rugby.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Money The Dome receives from Pick.Click.Give is used to operate two programs which increase our accessibility to the entire community: The Dome Community Health Initiative, which provides free access to everybody during specific times of the week; and The Dome Scholarship Fund, which provides need-based free and reduced tuition for our youth day camps and Flag Football leage. We are grateful for your contribution!
