Sitka Trail Works collaborates with community partners to create, maintain and promote a beautiful, diversified and accessible trail system. Sitka's trails provide a wide range of opportunities for physical activity, economic development, cultural enrichment and spiritual renewal. Trail Works reduces tangible and intangible barriers to the outdoors by providing safe and enjoyable experiences for youth and adults to connect with nature.

Pick.Click.Give donations provide critical support for trail construction, maintenance and outdoor education that bolsters community health.By providing recreation infrastructure and programming, Sitka Trail Works connects thousands of Sitkans to the myriad benefits of active outdoor lifestyles. Sitka Trail Works facilitates community-wide, multi-jurisdictional planning and public engagement to pursue infrastructure projects with the greatest local benefit. Trail maintenance is achieved by engaging residents in public lands stewardship through an award-winning volunteer program and hiring locals to develop the local natural resources workforce. We reduce financial barriers to the outdoors for hundreds of adults and children through our group hikes and summer camps.
