About
Nome Preschool Association was incorporated in 1970. We are an independent non-profit preschool. The mission of the Nome Preschool Association is to nurture the development of early learning through play, education, and social interaction in order to prepare the children and their families for the upcoming school experience. The Nome Preschool knows the importance of a child's early years and the impact these years have on their futures. That is why we have developed a dynamic preschool curriculum to set their students up for success in elementary school. The program is state-certified and serves three to five-year-old children. Nome Preschool currently employs three staff, one manager, one lead teacher, and a teacher aide.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Funds received from the Pick.Click.Give program will be used to provide educational supplies and resources for the only independent preschool in Nome. With the help of partnerships and donors, we offer our program at an affordable fee to families.
