About
Love In Action provides basic needs such as groceries, rent/utilities, prescriptions, linen, diapers, and other household needs. We also do meals for the sick and elderly, small home repairs, deliver furniture/linen and other services. This is a snapshot of the services we provide in our community. Love In Action is set apart in that we deliver the need right to the doorstep of the client. Helping our clients maintain household and family stability is a core value of our organization.

Most of our clients live on the poverty level which does not give them the ability to always provide for their basic needs. Love In Action maximizes the donations we receive to serve over 500 households and 2000 people each year. Ketchikan is a seasonal economy especially for blue collar workers who are unable to attain full-time year round jobs. This situation creates the need for simple services such as Love In Action provies by using donations in these two ways:Providing client assistance for groceries and other financial services.
