We love Interior Alaska. That’s why we work hard to preserve its natural beauty for the benefit of our community, now and for generations to come. The Interior Alaska Land Trust safeguards open space, offsetting the rapid pace of building by acquiring parcels of undeveloped land via conservation easements and real estate transactions. We are committed to preserving the unique ecology and natural resources of the Interior.

Donating to IALT helps create, improve, and maintain green space for the health of our community and the environment. Your donation will allow for the stewardship and protection of over 2,200 acres in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.Thanks to past donations, we have been able to provide serene, safe settings in nature for children to learn to ice skate, for families to ski together, dog mushers to practice, for berry-pickers, hikers and naturalists to wander, for wildlife to flourish, and forests to continue to evolve naturally and without threat.
Thanks to our hard-working volunteer board, 98% of your donation goes directly to land conservation activities. Your donation also allows the Land Trust to apply for matching grant funds.
