Fairbanks Resource Agency is dedicated to assuring that Interior Alaskans with disabilities and their families have equal opportunity to be fully included in the community where education, employment, housing, recreation and family services are available in the same places, at the same times and with the same respect afforded any member of the community.

Fairbanks Resource Agency will utilize funds to provide needed direct services for individuals who experience disabilities as well as their families and caregivers. Community services that support individuals with disabilities and their families are a vital component to keeping individuals in their home community. FRA offers a wide array of services for children, adults and seniors.Adults may choose from a wide variety of support services that can include assistance with locating and keeping a job, finding a home or apartment or perhaps assistance with budgeting.
Seniors in our community can enjoy time at the agency's adult day center during the week, or receive chore and/or respite care services in their home.
Children, youth and young adults can participate in activities with their peers, among available services. Families can use respite care services for a needed break from the 24 hour demands of caring for an individual with significant disabilities.
