Discovery Southeast deepens our connection with nature through education and exploration. We teach children to be comfortable and curious outside. We introduce children and families to the outdoors, providing the foundation for lifelong interests, skills, and exploration. At a time when children average seven hours a day in front of digital screens, Discovery Southeast ensures that local children access, appreciate, and enjoy Juneau's stunning natural areas. Our core, hands-on outdoor education programs work with local schools and bring a focus on the sciences. We strive to reach each local child.
