DPLC provides safe, nurturing, high-quality early learning and child care that supports children, families, and our community.
About
Denali Preschool and Learning Center (DPLC) is a nonprofit early childhood education and childcare center serving infants through school-age children throughout the Denali Borough. As the borough’s only state-licensed childcare center and certified preschool, DPLC provides a safe, nurturing place for children to learn, play, and grow while helping parents remain in the workforce. DPLC continues a long tradition of community-based childcare established by our predecessor, KidStop. Over the years, our organization has grown and adapted to meet the changing needs of local children and families. Today, we provide year-round childcare, preschool preparation, school-age programming, enrichment opportunities, and collaborative community events. DPLC also contributes to local economic development by helping parents remain in the workforce and by providing employment, on-the-job training, professional development, and career pathways for early childhood educators. Through partnerships with families, local organizations, businesses, government agencies, and funders, DPLC strengthens early learning, family well-being, workforce participation, and the vitality of our rural community.
