Denali Nordic Ski Club Inc.
Talkeetna, AK • EIN: 92-0150905
Our mission is to promote Nordic skiing through education, instruction, dedicated trail construction and maintenance.
About
Our organization is made of members who love the winter and outdoors. We are all passionate about providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the snow on skis! Every year we offer the Jr. Nordic children's cross country ski program to area elementary school children. Each year the program grows, and last year we had over 50 participants, the majority of whom received scholarships to participate. We also host educational opportunities and clinics, races (including the Oosik) and fun events, and last but not least, groom over 60 kilometers of ski trails. The majority of these activities are lead by passionate volunteers.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Donations to Pick.Click.Give will be used to support our Jr. Nordic program, including the expansion to the 6th and 7th grade children. We will purchase additional equipment and pay our coaches. It will also provide us with much needed funds for new grooming equipment.
