The Cold Climate Housing Research Center is an industry-based private nonprofit in Fairbanks, Alaska, committed to developing and advancing energy efficient, healthy, durable housing for all Alaskans. CCHRC works to develop energy efficient building and home technology adapted for cold arctic conditions, advance policy that promotes accessible and sustainable housing in cold climates, and engages with the community about their housing options. CCHRC educates home owners and builders to new techniques developed for affordability and to be energy efficient.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Funds raised through the Pick.Click.Give program allow CCHRC to broaden our reach through education about the cost and energy efficient housing and work on policy that strengthens the condition of home and develops projects with community partners from all over the state to build more affordable, efficient housing.
