How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

With a geographic area larger than most, we have been spread very thin for availability to the churches using Awana in Alaska. The geographic isolation in Alaska presents unique challenges. Training and visiting churches is one of our biggest challenges in ministry. From the Southeast to the North Slope and the Canadian border to the Bering Sea, families and churches are recognizing this tool, Awana, and using it. Balancing individual church needs, events, and enhancing excellence in leadership is a never-ending endeavor.

"An Awana Ministry Director, from Delta Junction, shared with us in August 2025 that they had a youth in their club ministry who had attended their Awana club from three years old through age eighteen, graduating high school and Awana clubs in their church - fifteen years of ministering to this youth! They also run an event called an Awana Grand Prix, which is a pinewood derby where kids race cars they have made. The club had ninety cars racing in the event this year, with many parents and family members attending as well."
The funds given to Awana Alaska are being used to train and equip leaders across Alaska to share God's Word with children and youth, allowing them to trust Christ as Savior and serve Him, all while having fun. Volunteers are pouring into their lives, many of which occur over several years, helping to create lasting faith in Jesus Christ in the lives of these kids!
