About
“End Silence, End Suicide” does not mean that we will end all suicides within our community. Rather, we believe that talking about suicide in safe, responsible ways will contribute to the ending of some suicides. That is the reason why we wish to lead the community discussion on this topic. We need all sectors of our community to effectively, safely, and accurately speak on suicide so that those with suicidal ideation will find the help they need. This is our passion. We wish for others to avoid what we have gone through. Therefore, we will actively pursue innovative approaches to foster active communication on suicide and its prevention. That is why we exist - why we are present in our community. To speak with compassionate understanding to foster life-saving discussions on hope. To accomplish this critically important mission, we use time-tested stories.
