About
Founded in 1974, Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) has been caring for Alaska’s neighbors for more than 50 years. As Alaska’s oldest and largest Federally Qualified Health Center, ANHC provides high-quality, integrated healthcare regardless of a person’s ability to pay. Each year, more than 15,000 neighbors turn to ANHC for primary medical care, dental services, behavioral health support, and care coordination. To make healthcare more accessible and convenient, ANHC also offers on-site pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, nutrition, and care coordination services that help remove barriers to care and connect patients with the resources they need to thrive. ANHC believes that health and healthcare is a fundamental part of a thriving community. By meeting people where they are and addressing both immediate health needs and the factors that influence long-term well-being, ANHC helps individuals and families build healthier futures.
