Support all Alaskans affected by Alzheimer's disease, related dementias and other disabilities to ensure quality of life.

About

Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska is a statewide nonprofit helping Alaskans navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, and other disabilities through education, support, connection, and practical resources. We serve individuals living with dementia, family and professional caregivers, older Alaskans, and communities across the state, meeting people where they are with knowledgeable and compassionate support. Our services include caregiver education and support groups, free memory screenings, confidential consultations, care coordination, social and cognitive engagement programs, Dementia Live® experiences, professional dementia training, and Mini Grants that help eligible Alaskans access essential services and resources. From Anchorage, Mat Su, and Fairbanks to rural and remote communities across Alaska, our team works to make dementia education and support more accessible. Whether someone is looking for answers after noticing changes in memory, learning how to care for a loved one, seeking meaningful connection, or navigating complex care needs, we are here to help. At Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska, we believe no Alaskan should have to navigate dementia alone.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

A memory screening that gives someone a place to start. A caregiver who finally feels prepared for what comes next. A family in a rural Alaska community connecting with dementia support they could not otherwise access. A loved one finding friendship, music, purpose, and connection while living with dementia.

This is what your Pick.Click.Give. contribution to Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska can make possible.

Across Alaska, families are navigating Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, often while balancing caregiving, work, finances, distance, and the uncertainty of what comes next. In a state as vast as ours, finding the right support can be especially difficult. Your gift helps us meet Alaskans where they are with education, resources, connection, and compassionate guidance.

Pick.Click.Give. contributions help support caregiver education and support groups, free memory screenings, confidential consultations, care coordination, social and cognitive engagement programs, professional dementia training, community outreach, and Mini Grants that help eligible Alaskans access essential services and resources.

But the impact goes far beyond a list of programs.

It is a caregiver learning a new way to communicate with a loved one when words become difficult. It is someone concerned about changes in their memory having a safe, confidential place to ask questions. It is a person living with dementia continuing to sing, create, learn, laugh, and participate in their community. It is a family receiving guidance when they feel overwhelmed by decisions about care. And it is our team traveling to communities across Alaska to bring dementia education and resources closer to home.

Your contribution also helps us strengthen communities by educating family caregivers, healthcare professionals, businesses, organizations, and community members about dementia and person centered support. The more Alaskans understand dementia, the better equipped our communities are to support the people and families experiencing it.

Every contribution matters. When thousands of Alaskans each choose to give a portion of their PFD, those individual gifts become education, connection, practical assistance, and hope for families across our state.

Pick.Click.Give. to Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska and help us build an Alaska where no one has to navigate dementia alone.

Alaskans helping Alaskans. That is the difference your gift can make.
