About

Alaska Behavioral Health provides integrated behavioral healthcare for children and adults experiencing mental health challenges, with clinics in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Wasilla and telehealth available statewide. Our integrated approach includes mental health assessment and treatment planning, psychiatry, integrated primary care, individual, group and family therapy, rehabilitation services, skill development, case management, and peer support. Little Tykes Therapeutic Services provides comprehensive wrap around services for children ages 2-5 and their families, in a structured, safe, secure, nurturing environment led by mental health professionals. Our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs serve those who need more focused support to avoid or step down from inpatient (hospital) care. In Anchorage, the POWER Center for youth and our adult Peer Lounge offer safe spaces to connect to services. In Fairbanks, our Mobile Crisis Team responds to mental health needs in the community 24/7. Adult Mental Health Residential Programs provide structured programming and round the clock staffing for adults with serious mental illness needing significant support. Our Cohen Military Family Clinics in Anchorage and Fairbanks provide evidence-based short-term therapy for military-affiliated individuals and families. We focus on timely access to evidence-based practices and are a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

Alaska Behavioral Health is the largest provider of community-based behavioral healthcare in Alaska. We served more than 8,000 clients last year and expect to top 10,000 this year! We provide care regardless of ability to pay and have a sliding fee scale for those without insurance. Even with insurance, Medicaid and other insurance payment rates do not fully cover the cost of providing high-quality services, including training staff in best practices, updating technology and keeping up with inflation. Donations help ensure that we can continue to serve ALL clients with the quality care they deserve. THANK YOU!
