About
Alaska Adoption Services supports families who are looking to expand their families through adoption by providing education, support, and case management. We are also honored to work with expectant parents who are looking for more information about adoption and what that could look like. If our expectant parents choose to parent, our goal is to connect them to resources in the community to be successful. If they choose adoption we walk with them through the process and journey. Our support does not end at adoption for our adoptive families or birth families, we aim to continue our support long-term. Our agency also hosts The Community Diaper Pantry where we provide 50 diapers per child and one package of wipes per month to families in need in the Anchorage community. We continue to see the need in our community for these services and are looking forward to continuing to grow and help more families.
