Alaska 4-H empowers young people with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, 4-H youth explore leadership, science, natural resources, healthy living, and community service while building practical life and career skills. Across Alaska—from rural villages to urban communities—4-H programs provide safe, supportive spaces where youth can learn by doing. Participants gain experience through projects such as outdoor education, food systems, cultural learning, public speaking, STEM exploration, and entrepreneurship.
