49 Writers is dedicated to giving Alaska writers the resources they need to share their stories and reach their creative goals. We envision a vibrant community of diverse Alaskan writers of all levels, ages, and backgrounds, coming together to find their voices. We value creativity, community and craft. Our offerings include writing classes and workshops, literary events including readings and discussions, collaborations with arts-focused organizations state and nationwide, free literary resources, and other special events, including our annual Tutka Bay Writers Retreat.
