The YMCA of Alaska is a nonprofit community hub that has served Alaskans for over 50 years with programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Our mission, rooted in Christian principles and guided by the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, drives us to provide equitable access to health, education, and youth development opportunities.

Our YMCA has been serving the Anchorage Community for 50 years, with over 10,000 community members utilizing our facility and or participating in our programs annually. Our goal here at the YMCA is to provide quality programs and services that build a healthy mind, body and spirit for all. Nationally we are the Y and narrowed down our focus to three main groups; healthy living, social responsibility and youth development. All of our programs & services fit in these three categories making it very easy to focus on making a difference in the communities we serve.
