About
Wasilla Area Seniors, Inc. (WASI) mission is to enable Matanuska-Susitna Valley seniors to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. Since 1981, WASI has proudly served seniors throughout the Mat-Su Valley. Today, WASI offers a comprehensive range of programs and services, including Meals on Wheels; congregate lunch programs at our senior centers in Wasilla and Houston, Alaska; 216 units of affordable senior housing; senior fitness classes and a dedicated senior gym; chore services; and many additional supportive services. WASI is governed by a high-functioning, volunteer Board of Directors and is widely recognized for excellence in senior care. We have been voted Best of the Valley in Senior Care for thirteen consecutive years.
