For over 35 years, United Way of Mat-Su has risen to meet the emerging needs of Mat-Su residents across the Mat-Su Borough. United Way of Mat-Su envisions a community wherein all residents have meaningful opportunities, comprehensive and compassionate treatment, direct resources, and can achieve their highest potential. Our annual programs, including Stuff the Bus Back-To-School Fair, Week of Caring volunteer deployment, Project Homeless Connect, and Play 60 with the Seattle Seahawks invite Valley residents of all ages to come create connections, receive much-needed services and resources, and offer networking and outreach opportunities for our fellow nonprofits. As the coordinator of Thrive Mat-Su Coalition and Mat-Su VOAD, UWMS organizes monumental efforts in youth programming and disaster response/preparedness for our neighbors and friends. Based on the Icelandic Model of prevention, our Youth 360 program offers free, fun afterschool clubs for youth and teens. The Early Childhood Partnership of Mat-Su assists childcare providers and families with young children throughout the Borough. Our Mat-Su Valley Resource Guide is the Valley's most used print resource, with over 10,000 copies printed and utilized around the Borough annually. We are honored to continue serving all Mat-Su residents as we work to show everyone that United is the Way.
