USAFV creates safer communities by providing vital services to people in crisis who often have nowhere else to turn. Our values are Safety, Shelter, Equality, Justice, Advocacy, and Empowerment, and our core programs are Shelter, Education, Advocacy, and Food Security. In addition to providing immediate safety, shelter, support, advocacy, and referrals to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, elder abuse, and other crimes, USAFV provides services to people experiencing all types of challenging circumstances, such as homelessness or near-homelessness, financial crisis, food insecurity, and other difficult situations.
