About
The Last Frontier Honor Flight's Mission is to transport Alaska War Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their services and sacrifices. These trips are at no cost to the Veterans and provided by donations from private individuals and corporate sponsorships. We are the Alaska hub of the Honor Flight Network. We are part of a national network that is flying WWII, Korean and Vietnam veterans to their monument in Washington, D.C. Our mission is to fly as many veterans from Alaska to Washington, D.C. as we can find – at no cost to the veteran. Top priority is given to WWII, Alaska Territorial Guard, Korean War Veterans and terminally ill veterans from all wars.

By donating a portion of your PFD, you are helping our veterans make the journey to experience the WWII Memorial, Korea, and Vietnam, along with all the other National Memorials in DC dedicated to our Veterans. To date The Last Frontier Honor Flight has transported 462 Veterans to visit these memorials.This is the visible gift of honor from a grateful nation. Those who have made this journey have often wept openly and have stated that they "can go now", for they have witnessed the recognition, not only of their efforts, but also those of the soldiers who did not return- those who breathed their last in the pursuit of freedom on land, at sea, and in the air, those who died so that we may live free.
