Spenard Jazz Fest is one of Alaska's best loved musical festivals -
For over 15 years SJF has presented hundreds of events main stage concerts, jams,
workshops, public building take overs and house concerts.
SJF bands and musicians perform outdoors and indoors, live and online.
Our goal is to feature as much great Alaskan music as possible during the first week of June every year -
Our international star headliners
In 2021 SJF released The Alaska REAL BOOK with over 200 musical charts by AK composers!
In 2022 and 23 SJF is distributing copies to hundreds of music educators across the state...

In 2023 SJF premiéres a new initiative called "Music in the Wilderness",
as well as a new edition of Duke Ellington's Nutcracker arrangement.
