The Rilke Schule Verein is the parent-teacher community organization (PTO) supporting Rilke Schule German School of Arts and Sciences. Verein is the German word for association, club, union or society. The RSV is a non-profit corporation, 501 (c) 3, that is legally separate from the school. Rilke Schule is a K-8th grade German Immersion Charter School in Anchorage. All students attending our school are immersed in the foreign language and culture; that learning is reinforced throughout the curriculum in non-German subjects as well.

Our organization is engaged in activities relating to the support of Rilke Schule German School of Arts & Sciences, the education of the children enrolled therein, the fostering of relationships between the school, parents, teachers and the community, and to serve its members and the public.We all know that every school has needs that are not met by state, local and federal funding. This is especially true in charter schools where the school must pay for its own facilities. Supplemental fundraising can pay for equipment, classroom supplies, faculty, training, enrichment programs, special events, professional development and more.
Supporting the teachers and administration extends their ability to teach our children. More money raised, means better and more opportunities for our children.
