About
Litter Free, Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, facilitates the collection and responsible management of trash and recycling from public lands within the City and Borough Juneau, Alaska. We are founded by, and for, Alaskans.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
With the generous support of our members, we have successfully led impactful, community-wide efforts to keep Juneau clean and cared for. This includes the Juneau Community Cleanup which removes over 11 TONS of rubbish from public areas every year, and the Youth Litter Patrol program which engages local youth in hands-on stewardship.Thanks to our supporters, Litter Free has expanded its reach beyond cleanup events to include public education, litter prevention, and organizational resilience. From partnering in the Fourth of July Parade to reduce event-related litter, to responding to community questions about illegal dumping, we continue to serve as a trusted resource for Juneau.
