The Ketchikan Pioneer Home Foundation supports activities, provides supplies, furniture, and equipment not provided by the State of Alaska to promote the well-being of the residents of the Ketchikan Pioneer Home thereby ensuring the best quality of life for the elders who helped build the community of Ketchikan and the State of Alaska.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The Foundation is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, it is overseen by a board of directors composed of volunteers within the community and resident family members. 100% of fundraising efforts through the Pick Click Give program directly benefit residents of the Ketchikan Pioneer Home. Specifically, items that support resident activities, resident personal needs, resident and staff appreciation. Items that are typically not provided by the State of Alaska. The funds are used to provide for indigent residents of the Home who would not otherwise be able to purchase basic personal care items like new clothing, glasses, dentures, hearing aids, or supplies. The Foundation strives to advocate and add to KPH's residents' overall well-being, dignity, and comfort.
