The Kenai River Queens (KRQ) was established in 2015 and serves to get more women involved in hockey. Each year the Queens take in new players and creates lasting friendships and bonds. No experience is necessary to join the team. Often times we have women join who want to learn more about the sport or get more involved because their kids play too. All are welcome to join.

Pick.Click.Give helps to keep ice fees a reasonable amount so the sport will remain accessible for everyone. Pick.Click.Give funds may also be used to purchase loaner gear that people can check out and use throughout the season which allows them to try the sport without the initial cost investment of buying their own gear.
