About
The Kenai Peninsula Orchestra performs 3 concerts per year, each concert is performed twice, in both Kenai and Homer venues. Our orchestra is all volunteer, with local Kenai Peninsula musicians. We also include young musicians whose skill levels meet the standards of our programs. We are currently working on developing a program in the schools where members of the orchestra can visit, perform and teach students about their individual instruments. We welcome all opportunities to perform not only onstage in our concerts but in various school musicals and events. We realize that music funding in schools has been greatly reduced and hope somehow to fill in the gap.
