About
Identity Health Alaska is a queer nonprofit clinic, explicitly designed to return safety, agency, and dignity to those whose identities and bodies have been marginalized and pathologized by for-profit healthcare. We provide care that never asks you to translate, withhold, or prove who you are. Our mission is empowering and advancing the LGBTQIA2S+ community through quality, inclusive healthcare and meaningful connections. Identity Health provides essential primary and behavioral healthcare services, with specialties in substance abuse recovery, gender affirming care, and HIV management and prevention services. While we center the LGBTQIA2S+ community, we recognize the intersectionality of all marginalized communities and welcome all patients. We are an Indigenously-led organization, and our providers center equity, cultural humility and lived experience for our BIPoC patients.

Your donation is an investment to improve the health and wellness of LGBTQIA2S+ and marginalized Alaskans, directly contributing to our clinic operations and enabling us to provide integrated primary and behavioral health care with in-person appointments at our Anchorage clinic and expansive telehealth options for the entire state. Identity Health also provides community support through hosting events and groups, partnering with local organizations to further access to care, and providing assistance for patients experiencing financial barriers by the means of our Health Equity Fund.
