About
A PreK-12th grade Independent Classical School in the Roman Catholic Tradition in the heart of Anchorage, Alaska, Holy Rosary Academy supports parents in their quest to develop wisdom and virtue in their children. Through our curriculum rooted in the greatest traditions of Western civilization, we strive to instill a love for the truth, an appreciation for the natural wonders so prevalent in the Last Frontier, and a devotion to Christ and His Church. Students learn to live a vibrant Catholic life through attendance at Mass, prayer, study, camaraderie, and apostolic work. The teachers employ the basic tools of the Trivium, a course of study that follows the three-lane path of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. The Trivium honors the natural stages of children’s intellectual development: developing memory (grammar), sound reasoning (logic), and communication skills (rhetoric). Surrounded by well-qualified and faith-filled faculty and staff, the students are prepared to pursue their vocation and continue a lifelong love of learning.

In addition to generous financial aid packages, we offer tuition discounts for families who support fundraising efforts and volunteer through the share hour program. In addition to the tuition reduction offered for fundraising efforts, Holy Rosary Academy offers need-based financial aid. Financial aid is awarded by semester, on a first-come, first-served basis for qualified students and families.
