About
Friends of Sitka Circus Arts (FOSCA), founded in 2016, exists to keep Sitka Cirque and circus arts in Sitka alive. Sitka Cirque is a uniquely inclusive, noncompetitive program blending performance, dance, gymnastics, and teamwork, with a strong safety record and expert instruction. But without scholarships and consistent enrollment, the program cannot continue. When participation drops because families cannot afford classes, the whole program is at risk. FOSCA bridges that gap by funding scholarships, equipment, performances, and mentorships that allow all ages and abilities to experience the creativity, confidence, and joy of circus arts. Sitka is richer, healthier, and more connected because of it.
