Anchorage Concert Association

Anchorage, AK • EIN: 92-6002302

Our mission is to inspire and enhance community through the performing arts.

About

Anchorage Concert Association (ACA) is Alaska’s largest performing arts presenter, serving over 40,000 people each year with performances and outreach that uplift, entertain, and inspire. While we continue to bring national touring artists to Alaska, ACA's mission now reaches far beyond the traditional stage, with programs that prioritize access, connection, and joy. These community initiatives engage an additional 8,000-10,000 people annually and include our free Summer Concert Series in Anchorage parks, the Rock the Hill Festival at Hilltop Ski Area, and Community Café, monthly open mics at The Nave that support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Through these efforts, ACA is not only presenting, but building community through the arts. We believe the arts are most powerful when they are participatory, personal, and rooted in place. By listening to our neighbors, supporting local artists, and centering communities that are often left out of arts programming, ACA is working toward a more connected, creative, and inclusive Anchorage.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

Anchorage Concert Association enhances quality of life in Alaska by creating opportunities for people to gather, share experiences, and connect through the performing arts. We believe that the arts are essential to individual well-being and to the cultural and economic vitality of our communities.

Our work contributes to quality of life in many ways: by providing moments of joy and inspiration, by creating space for dialogue and connection, and by amplifying stories that reflect the diverse realities of Alaskans today. While we continue to present nationally recognized artists, ACA increasingly serves as a facilitator of cultural exchange, bringing people together across generations, backgrounds, and geographies.

ACA continues to evolve in response to community needs. In the absence of a local arts council, and in direct response to feedback from Anchorage artists and arts organizations, we are developing INSPIRE Anchorage, a new initiative to support collaboration, shared resources, and collective advocacy. This effort will strengthen the broader creative ecosystem and provide infrastructure that has been missing in our city.

More than 70 years since our founding, ACA remains committed to serving Alaskans with programs that entertain, connect, and reflect who we are. Our strength lies not only in the quality of what we present, but in the care we take to serve the people we present it for.
