The Alaska Humane Society Adopt-a-Cat shelter is a 100% volunteer-operated and donor-funded organization in Anchorage, Alaska. We provide veterinary care, food, shelter, and love until our cats are adopted or they reach end of life.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The Pick.Click.Give program provides us with operational funds to help us achieve our mission. Most of our funding goes towards providing high-quality veterinary care for all the cats in our shelter and foster program. This care is provided throughout their time in our shelter and foster program, and include (but are not limited to) annual wellness exams, diagnostics, spay/neuter, and surgeries based upon individual needs. Veterinary costs continue to increase annually, however, we are dedicated to ensuring that each of our cats receives quality care and we are fully transparent with our community/potential adopters about their needs.Contact
