Our academic curriculum is presented from a perspective that encourages the balanced development of a student’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs. We create an environment that allows students to develop and use all their gifts and talents while promoting service to others.

Lumen Christi High School is a 7 – 12 grade ministry of St. Benedict Parish and strives to provide an education based on the Roman Catholic Church. As a Roman Catholic school, under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Anchorage, Alaska, Lumen seeks to prepare students to interact in a global society by nurturing respect for life and an acceptance of responsibility to self and community. The cost of educating a student exceeds $15,000 per student. Due to the generosity of donors, the tuition is less than $7,000.00 per student. Donations from ‘Pick, Click, and Give’ will provide an opportunity for the school to offset student tuition, to ensure students interested in attending a Catholic high school have an affordable option.
