How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Over the years, and because of your generous donations, Alaska Equine Rescue has expanded its scope in battling animal cruelty by fighting the problem on several fronts. Our duties include providing foster care and transportation services for law enforcement in cruelty cases as well as providing expert opinion from our certified equine cruelty investigators. We offer to the horse owner struggling with financial hardship, a Helping Hand Program that provides temporary assistance for feed, vet, advertisement and/or farrier care. Over the past three
years, AER has also offered a scholarship program for law enforcement and equine professionals interested in obtaining their Equine Cruelty Investigation Certificates through Code 3 Associates and Colorado State University.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said: Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. We hope you will join us in our mission to help horses in need, through community, education, passion and dedication. Thank you for your support!
